They same thing happened again. I had reinstalled the drivers from the Epson site, and also from the supplied disc, but the software would not load.
I have seen numerous "possible" fixes, including that I should go back to a previous Windows 10 build, but I am not comfortable with that. Of course , in the first call, I had to verify many things, like firewall installation? I wanted to post this, to show others with EPSON problems that I ended up having three different calls, with a total of 98 minutes involved, to correct the problem BUT I didn't have to buy another Flatbed Scanner, which probably wouldn't have corrected the problem.
